This page collects my case studies, design studies and technical comparisons. Each one shows the real work. You see the brief, the choices I made and the screens. You also see what the result can and cannot prove. Most are ecommerce sites or 3D product configurators. Pick the one closest to your own project.
Case studies

Soinvogue: a WordPress ecommerce redesign
Soinvogue is the marketplace for a group of beauty brands, each with its own audience. I redesigned and rebuilt it on my own in six weeks. The work covers brand discovery, product browsing, basket recommendations and a custom checkout, with 11 before-and-after comparisons.

Praxis Digital 3D: product configuration
I developed the Praxis Digital 3D product configurator, which more than 20 UK businesses used. The case study follows one furniture client through three interfaces, a large product library and finish changes on different parts of each piece.

MMU Knowledge Transfer Partnership
A research project with Manchester Metropolitan University. I built a 2D product configurator from images made in advance. Game-engine tools made those images for me. It explains why the number of images was the hard part.

Second Core
A WooCommerce redesign for a UK shop that sells refurbished computer parts. It has not launched yet, so I use a stand-in name. Five before-and-after concepts cover the homepage, catalogue, product pages, warranty and support.

Velune
A footwear storefront redesign built around fashion photography. I also worked on its speed and search set-up. The shoes lead every page, from the homepage to the journal.

ProSalonFurniture
A full brand and WooCommerce store for a new UK salon furniture company. It covers the name, identity, product imagery, catalogue and checkout for a range of 20 products.

Three.js vs Babylon.js vs PlayCanvas
I built the same furniture configurator in three engines and compared how each loads and renders. It explains when each engine makes sense.

Five working product configurators you can try in your browser: a desk lamp, a salon backwash unit, a modular sofa, a retro fridge and a watch. Each one has product rules and live pricing.
