• How long does a typical engagement take, and is it fixed-price or retainer?

  Defined-scope frontend rebuilds usually ship in 4–8 weeks; real-time 3D configurators in 8–12 weeks; focused performance / SEO / CRO sprints in 2–4 weeks. Defined-scope work runs fixed price with milestones; ongoing CRO + iteration work runs as a monthly retainer. The scope brief locks both the timeline and the model before any contract is signed.

• What does an engagement cost?

  Rates are competitive for the expertise and experience you get access to — a senior independent specialist who's shipped commercially since 2015, holds an MRes Distinction, ran a 12-person agency to a £3M+ annual revenue-uplift portfolio, and owns the IP on the 3D Configurator platform. Rather than a public rate card, the discovery call surfaces what the work involves and the written brief in step two carries the number.

• What stack do you typically reach for?

  WordPress + Timber/Twig + WooCommerce for commerce builds where the editor experience matters. Umbraco / .NET for traditional enterprise commerce. Headless on Shopify Plus or custom Next.js when raw performance is the brief. Three.js, PlayCanvas, WebGL for 3D product configurators. Vanilla JS, per-feature CSS, no build-tool gymnastics on the frontend by default. I match the stack to the problem rather than the other way around.

• Can you work alongside our existing team or managing agency?

  Yes — most engagements run that way. I deliver the design and the build end-to-end; the existing in-house team or managing agency handles integration into the managed environment, hosting, CI and the live cutover.
